Biography

Elís Miller-Larsen is interested in how ignorance and inquiry shape decision-making. Her dissertation The Ethics of Ignorance focuses on the rational and ethical tradeoffs that ignorance can impart on the formation and revision of attitudes. Elís received her doctorate from the philosophy department at Harvard University in 2023, and also has an MA in philosophy from King’s College London. Her work has several multi-disciplinary applications, including insights for experimental philosophy, tech ethics, education, and political policy.
