A Departmental Undergraduate Group (DUG) is a group of concentrators that plans events and activities to build a sense of community within a specific concentration.
The Philosophy DUG's central focus is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community for concentrators, prospective concentrators, and others interested in philosophical inquiry. They seek to enrich the academic experience through hosting lecture series and social events, peer advising, and parallel opportunities for meaningful dialogue, thereby cultivating a tight-knit community in which all of the department's constituents can engage with philosophical ideas and each other. In that vein, the current DUG Leaders hope to be a resource for those curious about opportunities within the department.
